There's a few marine conservation NGO's operating in raja ampat, barefoot conservation is the one I stayed with for 2 of the best months of my life. 12 dives a week, basic Island life and amazing sunsets pretty much every evening. Pricey but worth it if you are into that kind of thing.

Spent 24 hours on planes in a 32 hour period. It was exhausting but worth it. The diving was absolutely mind blowing. I shared a video on my account here. The Papuan people are very kind and friendly. Overall it was an incredible experience. I find that the hardest places to get to are usually the most worth it - definitely the case with this one.

Raja Ampat, an archipelago of 1,500 small islands located in Indonesia’s West Papua province, is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. It’s also a real mission to get there. I needed 3 flights, 4 buses and a couple of boats to get to my accommodation.
